My passion for the harp began to bloom at the age of 10 when I eagerly joined the middle school orchestra.

This love continued on through high school, as I started my first harp lessons. Enrolling in Booker T. Washington, the esteemed performing arts high school in Dallas, marked a pivotal moment in my journey.

It expanded my opportunities for learning and unleashed my creative potential. Continuing my pursuit of musical excellence, I found myself at the Butler School of Music, at the University of Texas at Austin. Immersed in a vibrant community of artists, I was able to network and collaborate with many different types of musicians creating a unique blend of techniques, timbres, and sounds.

Now, in my first year of teaching elementary school music, I get to foster the next generations of young artists and creatives!
